Job Description
- Work with our Division staff, unit heads, and others to implement Division priorities.
- Complete research and analysis, resource planning, and formulate recommendations.
- Guide transitions to implementation.
- Develop communication strategies.
- Encourage change management through performance tracking and operational support.
- Actively work on priority initiatives in collaboration with our Division Director and their team.
- Work with minimal or no direct supervision.
- Demonstrated ability leading change to achieve desired outcomes.
- Knowledge of professional engineering, techniques, practices, and procedures; NCDOT organizational structures; and budgetary planning.
- Experience developing, interpreting, and administering policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Experience establishing and managing priorities, developing work schedules, monitoring goal progress and schedules, and tracking data and activities.
- Experience anticipating and solving problems, working cooperatively with others, influencing others to achieve results, and enhancing organizational effectiveness and project delivery.
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, and
- 4+ years of relevant experience; or
- An equivalent combination of education and experience.
- We may require you to be registered as a professional engineer by the NC Board of Examiners for Engineers and Surveyors.
