Full-Time Community Projects Coordinator

The Health District is seeking a talented and motivated Community Projects Coordinator to join the Community Impact Team who can develop effective relationships at all levels, think and plan strategically, and provide hands-on support for community needs. This position reports to the Community Impact Team (CIT) Manager and will support the development, implementation, and leadership of community change initiatives related to behavioral health.

Pay Range and Status

  • $62,720 to $76,832 per year DOQ
  • 40 hrs/wk

Education and Experience

Any combination of training AND/OR experience that would provide the equivalent of:

  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in behavioral health, social work, health, or other relevant field, OR a combination of equivalent experience and education.
  • A minimum of five years of experience, demonstrated ability, and skills in a health, behavioral health, public health, human services, or other relevant setting.

Experience or knowledge of the following:

  • Successfully managing projects and meeting deadlines.
  • Implementing and evaluating programs and services.
  • Creating and delivering impactful presentations.
  • Problem-solving and collaborating for long-term improvements.

Key Responsibilities

The Community Projects Coordinator works closely with the CIT Manager, team, and partners involved in the Mental Health and Substance Use Alliance of Larimer County (MHSU Alliance), Health District leaders, and others, to gather, organize, and utilize information leading to the organization and implementation of primarily behavioral health improvement efforts in prioritized areas.

This position uses research (data, information, stakeholder input), analysis, development of effective materials, planning, organization of meetings and events, presentations, project management, and community organizing skills to work with partners and stakeholders to help the community develop and implement short and long-range solutions to community behavioral health-related issues. Must thrive on making sense out of complexity and ambiguity; be flexible with change; and enjoy problem solving and learning.
