Description:

Position Summary
This position is a principle contributor in developing specific research project requirements and is responsible for all aspects of the project from development through delivery. Perform complex study and data collection methods. May coordinate and direct the work and research tasks of lower level research staff.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Serve as a principal contributor to biobehavioral medical research using AI/ML
  • Serve as the lead AI/ML research programmer and analyst in NIH-funded clinical trials of AI digital behavioral treatments
  • Oversee, manage and maintain AI/ML and research data systems in NIH-funded clinical trials.
  • Develop and manage an Alexa-based research intervention for testing in clinical trials.
  • Develop and manage a web-based randomization system for NIH-funded clinical trials.
  • Oversee, manage and maintain clinical research databases in REDCap and similar electronic data capture systems for NIH clinical trials.
  • Create and manage all communication systems for scheduling and monitoring of research participant study activities in compliance with the NIH-funded clinical trial protocols.
  • Implement mobile health (mhealth) research data collection and management systems in NIH clinical trials.
  • Implement neuroimaging research and other data pipelines to process the data from different sources and store it in a secure clinical research data system.
  • Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.

 

 

 

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or related field required.
  • A minimum of 5 years related research experience, specifcally in machine learning.
  • Possesses and applies advanced knowledge of research principles, concepts, practices and methods

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree is preferred.
