Full-Time Program Coordinator – Professional & Community Education

Job Description

The Professional & Community Education Program Coordinator helps support and coordinate activities inside and outside of the program.

Specific Job Functions:

Job Function 1 – Operational Support

1.      Records Management

a.      Student Registration Support

b.      Records tracking

2.      Coordination of daily operations

a.      Troubleshooting

b.      Scheduling of classes and trainers

c.      Survey collection and review

3.      Tech & Administrative assistance

a.      Help out during learning sessions (virtual and in-person)

1.      Respond to inquiries

2.      Student request follow-up

Job Function 3 – Evaluation & Marketing Support

1.      Coordinate the creation of content for marketing and promotional materials

2.      Identify student success stories

3.      Updating the public facing schedule of trainings

Job Function 4 – Interdepartmental communication and coordination

1.      Daily communication of activities and updates

QUALIFICATIONS  

  • Experience with providing customer service

  • Demonstrated excellence in communication and interpersonal relationships

  • Experience with using a variety of software applications and programs

  • Detail-oriented, with ability to coordinate complex activities simultaneously

  • Comfortable with a high volume of interactions

  • Demonstrated commitment to racial justice and social equity

Essential Physical Skills

  • Ability to operate phones, computers, and office equipment.

  • Ability to transport oneself and portable computer equipment between home and office spaces.

  • Ability to lift, move and install essential computer equipment in office spaces at home, satellite, and central offices.
