Full-Time Experienced Barista
Job Description
Batch & Co is an ambitious new London launch, just up the road from Brixton in rapidly up & coming Streatham Hill.
The 1000 sq m site is currently being fitted out in advance of its May 2016 opening. We will be serving Caravan Daily Espresso Blend, running off a La Morzocco Linea & using a Mazzer Robur E grinder. We will also be using the estate dairy milk.

Are you an experienced Barista looking for a new role? We are looking for someone for a full time role with;
- A minimum of 1 years experience in a fast paced speciality coffee Barista role.
- Latte art skills
- Understanding of grinder adjustment and dialling in coffee, & speciality coffee appreciation.
- Outstanding customer service skills, as you will need to be good with people & build rapport with an expanding customer base.
- Always be punctual, clean & tidy & take pride in your work
- Fluency in English
- Ability to stay calm under pressure
- Flexibility with shifts, as there will be some early starts & availability to work at weekends.
- Take pride in your workspace, and operate in a clean and tidy manner
- Can do attitude
- Experience of opening & closing procedures
- Experience of cash handling.
- Being responsibility for the day to day managing of coffee area.
- Good team player & ability to assist other less experienced staff

We will aim to make the Coffee Shop a real hub for the community, and want everyone in the team to be part of this. Opening hours will be 7am to 5pm Mon-Fri. Sat & Sunday 10am to 5pm.
We will provide a permanent contract, competitive salary (depending on your experience), day time only working hours & flexible shifts, min of 2 days off a week, annual leave, a thorough induction, continued on-going training and also career progression within this new & exciting company.
