Job Description

The People Partner will support the VP People and People Partnering Lead in all aspects of the People Agenda, acting as a first point of contact for low-level employee relations issues and providing administrative support as required. The role will also support company-wide people initiatives, including onboarding, training and development, and performance management.

Compensation: £45,000 – 55,000 GBP per annum (dependent on experience)
Key Responsibilities:
– Act as the first point of contact for low-level employee relations issues across their client group, responding to queries and escalating where necessary to the People Partnering Lead for support and guidance.
– Supporting the creation and issuing of employment contracts, offer letters and other People documentation for all new starters.
– Assist with all new starter onboarding, including running induction sessions and ensuring all necessary documentation is completed and filed.
– In collaboration with the People Leadership Team, they will support the implementation and delivery of the company’s people initiatives, including performance management, employee engagement, and learning & development.
– Coordinate and administer employee and manager surveys, and assist with the analysis and reporting of results.
– Use data and insights to measure and evaluate the effectiveness of our People programs and practices and make recommendations for improvements.
– Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices in HR and changes in employment law and proactively identify opportunities to enhance our People offering.
– Work with the People Partnering Lead to maintain and update the company’s People policies and procedures.
– Provide administrative support for People-related projects and initiatives, as required.
– Maintain accurate employee records in the HR system and team drives.
– Support the People team with ad-hoc tasks as required.
Experience and Skills:
– Previous experience in a similar HR/People role, ideally in a high growth, scaling business with a diverse mix of employees and cultures
– Knowledge of UK employment law and People best practices.
– Strong background in data analytics.
– Strong administrative skills and attention to detail, whilst being able to work at pace.
– A positive and proactive team player who acts with a sense of urgency and adapts to a fast-paced and changing environment
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Strong negotiation skills, and someone not afraid to speak up and influence.
– Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
– Comfortable with Google Suite, Lever, Hibob and other people systems
