Position Summary:
The Senior Specialist, Depositary Client Management team will contribute to maintaining and strengthening the depositary bank monitoring program while developing controls, on boarding new clients, building strong client relationships, reviewing processes and procedures, sharing best practices and regulatory updates across the depositary bank.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Manage in full autonomy all assigned clients relationships
- Change agent enabler
- Act as the TD representative in clients’ board meetings, regular service review meetings…
- Accountable for building strong client relationships and delivering client service excellence
- Liaise with clients in respect of due diligence requests both on third parties and on the depositary
- Interact with Clients, service providers, counterparties and Auditors to build and maintain strong relationships
- Support the implementation of new business or products
- Follow, and enhance the procedures and controls designed to ensure activity is performed according to regulatory requirements
- Pro-active participation in team meetings and providing training to other team members
- Identify and implement Client specific value added controls
- Work with colleagues, including those within the outsourcing model, to ensure timely and accurate completion of reporting
- Assist and contribute whenever required to all other depositary tasks allocated to him/her
To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- University degree. Preferably Business administration, Law, or similar subject.
- Any additional qualifications in financial markets will be a plus. (Masters, Diploma, etc)
- 10 years of experience in the Fund Industry is required – experience in client services is essential
- Excellent knowledge in Real Estate and Private Equity
- Perfect command of English. Any additional languages would be considered as an advantage
- Strong knowledge of the UCITS and AIFM laws and regulations
- Strong analytical, communication and organization skills (both verbal and written)
