As the Aquatics Program Director, you will be responsible for organizing, monitoring, supervising, and maintaining aquatics programs at the Y. If hired for this position you will provide an impactful member experience by designing, implementing, and evaluating programs, activities and events open to all members.

Are you a good fit?

  • You are committed to valuing and promoting diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
  • You have a Bachelor’s degree and/or two years related knowledge and experience.
  • You have experience in supervision, fiscal management, program development, staff and volunteer development.
  • You have experience in planning, organizing, and implementing age-appropriate/developmentally appropriate program activities.
  • You have demonstrated skills in customer service, public relations, organizational skills, communications, supervision, computer knowledge, and file maintenance.
  • You have current Lifeguard, CPR for the Professional Rescuer, AED,  First Aid, and Oxygen certifications.
  • You are excited to assist the staff leadership team in reaching annual campaign goals through recruiting campaigners, making personal asks and supporting branch events.
  • Able to complete Child Abuse Prevention on first day and other online or in-person training as required.

Starting Rate: $21.47+ per hour –  DOE

Hours: Full Time – 40 hours per week
