Responsibilities Include:
- Provide support to end users for hardware and software related issues.
- Microsoft Windows server and client operating system security patching and vulnerability management.
- Microsoft Windows server and client testing, imaging, implementation, management, and upgrade.
- Microsoft Active Directory and group policy management.
- Microsoft Exchange Online and Office 365 management.
- Diagnosing and proactively monitoring network infrastructure.
- Network security and anti-virus protection for users, network, infrastructure, and data.
- Create and maintain documentation as it relates to system configuration, connectivity, and processes.
- Investigate, recommend, and implement new technologies.
- Performs system backups and recovery. Maintains data files and monitors system configurations to ensure data integrity.
- Project work as needed.
- Participate in on-call rotation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Position Requirements:
- BS degree in Computer Science or related field and a minimum of three years of relevant experience; five years of relevant experience is required without a degree.
- Experienced providing IT help desk support to end users.
- Experienced implementing, monitoring and maintaining Microsoft Azure solutions.
- Working knowledge of Exchange Online and Office 365.
- Intermediate knowledge of Active Directory, Azure AD, LDAP, Kerberos, and Windows Authentication.
- Intermediate knowledge managing Active Directory objects (User/Computer/Group management, Group Policy).
- Intermediate knowledge of Windows 10, 11, and Server 2012/2019.
- Intermediate knowledge of VMware and other virtualization technologies.
- Experience working with SCCM/WSUS/MIM is highly desirable.
- Good knowledge of batch files, VBscript, and Powershell Scripting.
- Basic knowledge of network TCP/IP concepts, switch configurations, and firewall settings.
- Basic knowledge of VPN connectivity and client trouble shooting.
- Basic knowledge of hardware assembly and repair (desktops, servers, storage (SAN & NAS), printers, and laptops).
