Job Description
POSITION SUMMARY:
This office position provides coordination of credential management and supports talent acquisition. Responsible for accurate record keeping, documentation, compliance, and interpretation of Human Resources policies and regulations – especially relating to driver qualifications and employee background checks.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assures that all operation locations are in complete human resources and position-related credential compliance with all Company, Federal and State policies / procedures
- Develops sound processes in conjunction with Operations to ensure compliance
- Selects and implements technology which enhances credential compliance
- Leads change management process on process and technology
- Trains users and is prime technology contact for compliance system
- Leads operational staff meetings for current credential activities, workforce planning needs and establishing recruitment plans
- Assists or leads the administration of the recruitment program from job posting, general interview sessions, interviews, job fairs, pre-employment screens and new hire on-boarding. Assists with the selection of applicant tracking technology
- Supports human resources initiatives in partnership with operations
- Answers incoming calls from job seekers, interviewees, new hires, current and past employees regarding HR topics
- Assists in employee engagement activities
- Supplies Safety History Record Requests as requested
Assists in maintaining Human Resource Information System records and compiles reports from database as needed for credentials compliance - Unemployment Management, and Communications

QUALIFICATIONS:
The requirements listed below are representative of the abilities needed to perform the essential function of this position in an office. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities.
- Three years’ experience in an HR environment
- Knowledge of principles and practices of human resources.
- Prior experience with an HRIS database; compliance technology preferred
- Strong computer (Microsoft Office), social media and internet skills
- Effective organizational and interpersonal skills
- Written and verbal communication skills
EDUCATION:
- A bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related subject or equivalent work experience
