We are entering our next phase of rapid growth and are looking for a proven, energetic, and inspiring sales executive to join our leadership team. This position reports to the CEO.
Overview
As Vice President of Sales, you will craft and execute growth initiatives aimed at meeting or exceeding aggressive bookings targets including targeting and closing new Clients, expanding and retaining business with current Clients, and developing and managing a focused network of channel partners.“`
Responsibilities
- Work with the leadership team to determine and execute sales plans to meet organizational needs
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies
- Perform day-to-day oversight and management of the sales team
- Track, analyze and present sales metrics to senior leadership
- Facilitate current Client relationships and work to grow new ones
- Develop Executive relationships with Clients and prospects
- Analyze market trends and plan sales strategies accordingly
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Robust leadership abilities and an innovative, entrepreneurial attitude
- Strong interpersonal and customer service skills; demonstrates patience with reluctant or frustrated Clients and resolves difficult or emotional Client situations effectively
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships at the C-level within Client organizations
- Outstanding sales management skills including hiring and retaining talent, creating compensation plans, developing a culture of performance and accountability, and delivering on forecasts and commitments
- Ability to think creatively, analytically and strategically
- Collaborative style with a professional, confident and engaging demeanor
- Knowledge of and insight into market and competitive trends
- Self-motivated and driven to succeed
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or equivalent experience
- Eight to ten years of sales management experience with proven results growing a solutions/consulting business from $30 to $60 million topline
- Prior role reporting to the CEO as a member of the executive team
- Knowledge of customer experience and IT Infrastructure products and services:
- Network
- Collaboration
- Data center
- Cloud integration
- Automation
- Security of the technologies listed above
- Knowledge of managed services, cloud and XaaS models
- Strong presentation, verbal and communication skills
- Previous experience working in the IT Professional Services/solutions/consulting industry
Desired/Preferred Qualifications
- Key customer relationships with CIOs/CTOs in our market
- Prior experience developing and executing a channel strategy
