As the Videographer and Photographer, you will lead video and photo production of virtual programs. You will serve as a key member of the Virtual Experience team in service to the Y’s strategic priorities of member experience, program and Summer experience, staff experience, and philanthropy. This is a hybrid position.
In this role you will use your skills to:
- Translate marketing and communications priorities into high-quality photos and videos
- Build a robust library of photos and videos
- Be responsible for the strategy and management of the YMCA’s YouTube channel and create a promotional plan for all content produced, including delivery on YouTube, social media, website, and email
- Support continuous improvement of digital platforms
- Keep content and user experiences fresh, engaging, and related to operations, programs, membership, campaigns, and messaging
Are you a good fit?
- You have a Bachelor’s degree in integrated marketing, communication technology, new media, or related field OR demonstrated equivalent experience.
- You have two years of successful experience in multi-channel digital marketing, and/or photography and videography.
- You are an innovative, creative, proactive, and self-directed team player who works well in a fast-paced environment and meets deadlines.
- You have excellent written, verbal and visual communication skills including the ability to compose content, write and edit compelling stories and draft statements of work.
- You are proficient in various video editing software programs such as Adobe Creative Suite.
- You are comfortable working with people of all ages and walks of life and are able to help them feel relaxed and comfortable in front of the camera.
- Able to complete Child Abuse Prevention training on first day and other online or in-person training as required
Starting Wage: Up to $26.62/hr. depending on qualifications
Location: University YMCA – Tacoma
Hours: Full Time, 40 hours per week
