We are currently hiring for the position of:

PRODUCER, INDUSTRY VENUES

 

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Industry Sales & Services, the Producer of the Industry Venues, will coordinate the pre-production and onsite operation efforts of our all Industry related locations. Pivotal in the activation of professional spaces, the Producer will liaise with various internal and external partners to bring the space life and welcome professionals to Toronto.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate the production of all Industry Office locations
  • Liaise and negotiate with suppliers and vendors
  • Liaise with National Agencies prior to and during the Festival to ensure that their stands at the Industry Centre meet their needs
  • Manage Industry Office relocation to off-site locations, including all operational needs for Industry Office 
  • Liaise with internal departments, such as IT, Creative, and Facilities, in the set up of Industry Centre
  • Coordinate site safety and security for all onsite Industry Office locations
  • Collaborate with Event production team to procure materials and develop schedules.
  • Write a detailed post-mortem

 

JOB GRADE & RATE OF PAY:

  • Job Grade 2
  • $22.16/Hourly

 

CONTRACT DATES OR START DATE:

  • July 18, 2022 to September 23, 2022

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Creative Suite in particular considered an asset
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to communicate (oral and written) in a professional manner, and client oriented
  • Detail and process oriented with excellent administrative and organizational skills
  • Ability to respond to fast-changing priorities and deadlines and to accommodate a flexible work schedule including some evenings and weekends
  • Ability to handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy
  • Fluency in foreign language(s) considered an asset
  • Excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
  • Precise memory for names, positions, companies and situations
  • Mature personal judgment, exhibiting a high level of professionalism and diplomacy
  • Able to handle difficult situations and people with tact and professionalism
  • Excellent phone manner, communication fluency and interpersonal strengths
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment
  • Desire and ability to take initiative and coordinate projects
  • Ability to work and respond well in fast-paced and high pressure environments with a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
  • Fluency in a second language considered an asset
