THE ROLE: We are seeking a software quality assurance analyst to join our team. This position will be testing scalable web applications that safely and securely enable our users to pay all their bills. This position will work closely with product management and engineering on a talented team creating exceptional software.

- You write clear and complete test plans and test cases
- You perform unstructured exploratory testing
- You work closely with the team to ensure software requirements are fulfilled
- You work with the team to debug problems and production issues
- You enjoy working and directing remote testing teams
- You are passionate about introducing new technology and best practices to the team to continuously improve and push boundaries
- You love collaborating with other people and leave your ego at the door
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 3+ years of industry experience
- Familiarity with QA methodology
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiar with testing web applications using different browsers and mobile devices
- The desire and capacity for learning quickly in a fast-paced environment, while handling multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience with high scale, distributed, 24×7 systems and applications
- Experience with SQL in a transactional application
- Experience with Linux platforms
- Self-starter with can-do attitude who has relentless drive to improve quality
- Team player with strong written and oral communication skills
WITHIN 1 MONTH YOU WILL:
- Complete company onboarding
- Work with other engineering teams during a rotation
- Run test scenarios using the major components of our products
WITHIN 3 MONTHS YOU WILL:
- Write and execute test cases for features
- Review other testers’ test cases
- Execute and review automated test results
- Follow deployment standards and perform QA deployments
LONG TERM:
- Triage workflows and gatekeep releases
- Fully manage product releases from beginning to end all the way to Production
- Prioritize work for remote testers and triage issues
- Coordinate cross-team releases
- Progress in your career path
- Contribute to the growth and evolution of our organization
