As the Manager on Duty, you will oversee branch operations and administration by ensuring staff and members are in compliance with all YMCA policies and practices, supervising branch staff and responding to emergencies and member incidents.
If hired for this position you will use your skills to:
- Open and/or close the facility following proper procedures
- Do facility walk-throughs during your shift
- Support the Membership desk and Welcome Center
- Build relationships with Members
- Be the first responder to emergencies and incidents
- Ensure safety and cleanliness standards are being maintained
Are you a good fit?
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- Positive attitude and previous experience with and diverse populations.
- Demonstrated maturity, sound judgment and decision making skills.
- Relevant knowledge and experience, especially in a supervisory and/or leadership capacity is preferred.
- Current CPR for the Professional Rescuer, First Aid, AED, Oxygen and YMCA or American Red Cross Lifeguarding certifications.
- Able and willing to complete online Child Abuse Prevention training on first day, and other online and in-person training as required.
Starting Wage: $16.13+ per hour, depending on qualifications
Hours: Part Time – Up to 25 hours per week
