The Position

A coalition of organizations is running voter registration drives nationally to register people of color to vote, and The Outreach Team (TOT) is helping by running a side-by-side Quality Control program. The Partner Manager is a liaison between The Outreach Team’s Quality Control operation and the partner groups doing voter registration and voter contact work on the ground. Location: This is a remote position but will require in-person site visits. Staff can be located anywhere in the U.S. provided they are close to an airport. 1-2 weeks of travel per month will be required for site visits.

Responsibilities

  • Work with partner groups and state tables to develop and implement robust quality control systems and processes for voter registration drives
  • Work with Quality Control Office Director and part-time quality control staff to identify potential problems and relay that information to partner groups
  • Analyze data and produce daily, weekly, and monthly reports on key quality control metrics for partner groups
  • Participate in regular conference calls and individual phone calls with partner groups to review the results of quality control data and troubleshoot any issues
  • Communicate with partner groups and client leadership about QC flags and trends and how to address them

  • Communicate extremely well, in writing and over the phone – you can explain complex problems and patiently help people solve them
  • Are able to work long hours occasionally, including some evenings and weekends
  • LOVE a good spreadsheet

Must-haves:

  • Experience building alliances and working closely with diverse organizations, especially organizations rooted in communities of color
  • Extreme attention to detail
  • Ability to navigate complex technological systems
  • Experience in community organizing, field campaigns, or political data management
