Clark College is currently accepting applications for a part-time Computer and Electrical Engineering Faculty position. This position will teach first and second year Electrical and Computer-related college-level courses. This is an ongoing recruitment to keep a fresh pool of applicants. Positions will be filled as program needs arise.

General Faculty Responsibilities

Instruct Introductory Computer Science and Electrical Engineering classes utilizing techniques and knowledge of the discipline that facilitate student learning.

Participate in relevant department activities supporting the teaching and learning environment.

Provide appropriate means to assess student progress and provide timely feedback.

Work well with people of all ages from academically, culturally, and socioeconomically diverse backgrounds.

Understand and commit to the mission of Clark College.

Minimum Qualifications and Competencies

Master’s degree (MS) in Computer and Electrical Engineering or equivalent

Experience in mentoring, training, or teaching

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Ability to work well with people of all ages, from academically, culturally, and socio-economically diverse backgrounds.

Salary Statement: Lecture hourly rate is $73.68, and lab hourly rate is $62.92.
