Full-Time Worker’s Comp/Risk Management Liaison
Job Description
The Risk Management Liaison is responsible for overseeing the organization’s comprehensive insurance and risk management program, assessing and identifying risks that could impede the reputation, safety, security, or financial success of the organization.

Roles & Responsibilities
- Must have Worker’s Compensation experience
- Recommends, designs, and implements risk management solutions for the company such as insurance, safety and security policies, business continuity plans, or recovery measures
- Performs risk assessments, collecting and analyzing documentation, statistics, reports, and market trends on current and potential risks
- Reduce and contain Workers Compensation Claims
- Communicate with the claims adjuster, medical provider, attorneys, and mediators
- Takes action in the event of fraud, negligence, and error
- Oversee safety and loss control
- Participate in safety meetings
- Coordinate and direct insurance company loss control efforts
- Monitor and improve the GPS and drivers program
- Ensure MVR checks are run when needed
- Ensure documentation when speeding and reckless driving occurs
- Keep driving policy up to date
- Conducts risk assessments, collecting and analyzing documentation, statistics, reports, and market trends
- Establishes policies and procedures to identify and address risks in the organization’s services and departments
- Reviews and assesses risk management policies and protocols; makes recommendations and implements modifications and improvements
- Reviews and analyzes metrics and data such as cash flow, inventory, breakage, and employee activity that could uncover fraudulent behavior
- Drafts and presents risk reports and proposals to executive leadership and senior staff
- Performs other duties as directed
