Full-Time Inventory Analyst

The Inventory Analyst is responsible for coordinating company floral supply chain and order fulfillment efforts from all regions of the world. This includes oversight comparing sales forecast, to supply plan, and track utilization. Coordinate with the Operations Team on internal transfers based on facility capacity. Coordinate with the Receiving Team and Transportation Manager on floral inbounds. Coordinate with Customer Care when inbound delays, quality rejections, and other order fulfillment issues impact customer orders or delays. Manage the entire floral credit request process.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the entire process of sending weekly purchase orders, uploading the inventory, releasing QC buffers
  • Work with the NPI Analyst, QC Analyst and Transportation Manager on accurate inbounds and adjusting inventory; including working with Customer Care on customer orders impacted by any shipping delays or quality rejections
  • Work with the NPI Analyst that all product profiles and inventory data are accurate
  • Send credit request memos for shortages, rejections, and for misfulfilled orders
  • Coordinate with the Sales team on have standard confidence intervals, forecasted variance, and communicate supply constraints to meet the sales forecast
  • Demonstrate understanding of supply chain costs and effectively manage to reduce landed costs while maintaining quality, consistency, and reliability
  • Work with Finance and SC Management to ensure accuracy of purchase orders, vendor invoices  and credits against agreed-upon pricing

  • Intermediate Excel/Google Sheets skill
  • Intermediate presentation development skills
  • Intermediate cost-benefit analysis skills
  • Basic negotiation and contract-writing and review skills
  • Ability to present findings and communicate ideas / strategic recommendations to Senior Leadership with minimal support from a supervisor
  • Basic Spanish Skills a plus but not required

Education

  • BS in Business Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistic, or related technical degree preferred
  • Or, 3+ years in manufacturing, warehousing, inventory management, and data analysis is highly desirable
