Full-Time Production Assistant

POSITION DETAILS
We are looking to fill an introductory production position. It is a full time position and schedule may vary and weekend work will occasionally be required.
JOB DUTIES
- Perform the tasks and duties required to safely execute the Production Schedule as planned
- Maintain an orderly workplace with an emphasis on safety
- Pour commercial yeast orders
- Homogenize harvested yeast
- Operation and cleaning of production space/production tools and equipment
- Quality control
- Yeast propagation

- Ability to keep a clean working environment

WORK ENVIRONMENT
- Work in a warehouse where it will be hot, cold, wet, and/or noisy for extended time periods.
- Work on your feet for extended periods of time, often on wet floors with wet equipment.
- Frequent handling of hazardous materials, including cleaning and sanitizing chemicals.
- Work around high voltage machinery, hot water, compressed gasses, and steam.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Work occasionally on ladders and with forklift.
- $19.23/hr starting wage
- PTO: 2 weeks paid vacation, sick, and 6 paid holidays.
