Would you like to use your skills to ensure all YMCA information technology systems and workstations are well-maintained to create an excellent staff experience? Do you have a passion for managing computer hardware, peripherals, software, networking infrastructure, telephone equipment, and member-accessible networked equipment?
If hired for this position you will provide maintenance of the computer systems environment by assessing requirements, resolving problems, installing hardware and software solutions, and supporting the internal Help Desk.
In this position you will be able to use your skills for:
IT Infrastructure and Applications
- Resolve hardware and software issues, support & troubleshoot systems in a MS Windows environment.
- Check error codes and logs to investigate the root cause of issues and provide a resolution in a timely manner.
- Image and Deploy new PC’s into the environment.
- Deploy Software and Security patches using SCCM.
- Where ever possible, develop automated processes using Powershell scripting.
- Deploy and manage necessary Group Policies.
- Perform activation and support of tablets and mobile devices.
- Assist in installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of office telephony systems.
- Assist in the setup and operation of audiovisual hardware and software as required by end-users.
- Supports events such as infrastructure changes and software releases.
- Assist in administration and maintenance of non-desktop technology infrastructure components.
- Disconnect, move and reconnect desktop technology hardware for single user, multi-user, and office moves.
- Present complex, technical ideas to a non-technical audience.
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and adherence to service level agreements.
- Exercise good judgment for prioritization and time allocation.
- Work independently and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Perform basic, first-level network troubleshooting.

- You have a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
- You have at least 5 years’ experience in supporting desktops and laptops hardware as well as Windows 10, Microsoft Office applications and Office 365.
- You have a solid understanding of Active Directory, Group Policies, and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM).
- You are able to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- You have exceptional customer service skills and mindset a must.
- You have a firm understanding of MS-based Operating Systems and Applications
- You are excellent at problem solving and possess the ability to work independently.
- You have some scripting experience with Python, VBA and/or Powershell.
- You have experience with iOS and Android mobile platforms (highly preferred).
- You have an MCSA certification – Windows 10 preferred, but not required.
