As the Senior Specialist for Benefits, Wellness, you influence the strategy and philosophy that will impact GoPro’s most important asset — our people. Your role will help shape our US benefits and global wellness programs.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with our US brokers, 401k Plan Administrator, and Leaves Administrator to manage the GoPro wellness programs, core health benefits, 401k, life and disability, leave of absence programs, and workers’ compensation insurance.
  • Manage GoPro Wellness programs, events and activities – improving the physical and mental health of employees using preventive means aligned with GoPro culture and with measurable results.
  • Build and maintain an employee culture of well-being, growing a diverse GoPro Wellness brand both internally and externally. Incorporate internal and external surveys, Employee Resource Groups, and innovative marketing into your initiatives.
  • Responsible for benefit administration, vendor contracts and invoices, enrollment reconciliation, audits, and accurate enrollments in our benefits systems.
  • Responsible for expedient resolution of employee benefit questions or issues. Functions as a liaison between vendors and employees.
  • Partner with People Operations, Workplace Services and Legal teams on health and safety programs.
  • Support US Open Enrollment review and strategy, ensuring competitive benefits packages are maintained and improved, providing thoughtful data and analytics to Benefits leadership to inform decision-making.
  • Lead on Immigration programs, partnering with outside counsel and the GoPro Mobility team to help GoPro employees feel safe and supported through visa application and renewal processes. Maintain regulatory compliance with all immigration government agencies.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations, completing compliance requirements including but not limited to audits, 5500 filings, ACA reporting, and summary annual report postings.

Skills We’re Stoked About

  • 3+ years previous benefits, immigration, and/or wellness experience in a complex, fast paced environment
  • Excellent writing and communication skills and ability to make updates and changes to procedures and documentation as needed
  • Knowledge of HR practices and principles, with focus on US and Global benefits, reporting and analytics
  • Essential technical skills: HRIS (preferably Workday), Excel, Word, Sharepoint or wiki experience
  • Ability to gracefully handle competing priorities simultaneously
  • Maniacal attention to detail and proven ability to create simple, sustainable and organized processes
  • Outstanding follow through, self-directed and highly motivated with a strong sense of urgency
  • Strong time management skills and ability to make judgment calls
  • Work well in a highly collaborative environment and open to give and receive feedback
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality
