Full-Time Senior Manufacturing Engineer Group Leader – 210000C7
Job Description
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Oversee the Manufacturing Engineering support for Assembly, Hot Test, or Upfit/Paint areas.
• Directly supervise exempt/hourly Manufacturing Engineering staff within their assigned area while also mentoring for less experienced engineers and exempt/hourly direct reports.
• Ownership of all processes, tools, and floorplans for the area, as well as leading/participating in quality and HSE investigations/improvement projects.
• Working cross functional teams with Operations, Quality, Materials, & HSE. Other projects/tasks will be assigned as necessary.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• Direct contributor as a manufacturing engineer with 5 to 7 years’ experience.
• Strong communication skills be a self-starter, capable and effective leading and resolving immediate production equipment or process issues, as well as identifying and working long term improvement projects.
• Must have a desire to learn and grow in the role.
• Previous experience working with PLCs, DC Torque equipment operation and programming, and troubleshooting equipment/machine faults and failures.
• Utilization of Oracle material control systems, Information Management Systems, and non-system-based processes will be required.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
