Full-Time Wire Transfer Processing Specialist (Req#2294)
Job Description
Performs operations functions for Wire transfers including but not limited to:
- Execute and settle both domestic and foreign bound (US Dollar & Foreign denominated) transfers via the core wire transfer system.
- Execute trace requests amendments, and retrieval of funds as requested
- Produce disclosures for consumer remittance transfers according to Reg E and Dodd Frank Regulations
- Process same day Federal Tax Payments for corporate customers as needed
- OFAC review
- Conduct start of day processes including late day wires, standing and sweep wires
- Conduct end of day processes including daily reconciliation, transmittal of accounting entries to deposit and G/L systems, load archive file, and update ABA, SWIFT and OFAC files as needed
- Creation and delivery of funds transfer, both US Dollar and foreign denominated, confirmations
- Monitor online banking wires for exceptions and work to escalate and resolve.
Other Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Resolve internal and external customer inquiries and research requests
- Proactively identify potential risks and take corrective action to eliminate and reduce risk
- Support effective information flow between operations, customer facing employees, and service providers
- The incumbent should possess strong communication and organization skills as well as strong customer service skills and knowledge of general accounting principles.
- Attention to detail is required as well as the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Be comfortable in PC environment with experience in MS Office suite products.
- They must be able to work effectively as part of a team.
