Full-Time Welsh Triathlon Programme Administrator

British Triathlon – Posted by British Triathlon Anywhere

Job Description

Welsh Triathlon is the Governing Body for multisport in Wales and works closely with the British Triathlon Federation (BTF) to create aligned pathways and opportunities for everyone to develop and achieve their potential. This is an exciting time for Welsh Triathlon, looking to build on a long history of Welsh and British international accomplishment developing the next generation of performance athletes, whilst growing the enjoyment and opportunities for participation in our sport.

Welsh Triathlon is looking for a dynamic, engaging person to help promote and deliver triathlon and related multi-sports in Wales.

This new position has been created due to the expansion of the National Triathlon Performance Centre Wales (NTPCW) and the Welsh Triathlon Pathway and Development opportunities. Welsh Triathlon is now looking for someone to support, coordinate and administrate the delivery throughout our performance and development programmes.

The post will be based in Cardiff, with two areas of responsibility: providing the administrative support and coordination of the Welsh Triathlon Performance Programme (WTPP), including the National Triathlon Performance Centre Wales, and administrative support to the Welsh Triathlon Development Programme, CEO (and Board Directors as required).

The post holder will play a key role in raising the profile of and engagement with activities through the development of social media channels, in line with our overall strategic objectives.

The post holder will have experience in the administration and coordination of complex, dynamic programmes and/or activities, and of working as part of a team. Experience working within a performance sport context is desirable, however more important is the ability to learn, develop and take on challenges in a dynamic and fast-changing environment.

Though based at Cardiff, the nature of the role may require evening and weekend working and travel across Wales.
