Warehouse Operations Assistant

Full Time Permanent

Main Distribution Center, St. John’s

As a member of the Warehouse team, this position is responsible for the following:

  • Communicate verbally and electronically with NLC customers regarding schedule, changes, on time order receipt, trouble shoot Online Ordering issues and provide overall excellent customer satisfaction from any inquiry.
  • Manage and process customer credit requests, process inventory adjustments, manually key customer orders, etc. through Management Merchandising System (MMS) while communicating with internal departments and external customers and compiles data for back up.
  • Extracts system generated and manually collected data pertaining to departmental and employee key performance measures; Updates excel spreadsheet with Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) and communicates to management.
  • Updates and maintains the warehouse department’s attendance management records.
  • Maintains record of all Receiving, Pallet Control and Special Order records for warehouse.

Accurate preparation of purchase requisitions for warehouse department through the NLC’s electronic purchasing system.

  • Update and maintain the warehouse department’s internal website – Grapevine.

 

The successful candidate must possess the following qualifications:

  • Graduation from a two-year diploma program in Office Administration from a recognized college.
  • Minimum of one (1) year Office Administration experience.
  • Experience in Warehouse Management System software application is an asset.
  • Knowledge of applicable Occupational Health and Safety act and regulations.
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Salary:             CG 26: $42,096.60 – $46,592.00 annually
