Full-Time Warehouse Management System leader – Process Improvements
Job Description
We are looking for a talented leader to join our logistics team based in Darlington. We expect that this role will need you onsite
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
* Implement and lead a range of process improvements covering ways of working, team development and IT systems
* Ensure accurate inventory cycle count processes & maintain and improve physical and digital movements
* Partner with Cummins business units to manage the supply lines and inventory process
* Develop relationships to gain stronger customer insights and increase cross function collaboration
* Work with a range of stakeholders, both internal and external, to provide progress update reports and escalate issues and areas of concern
* Develop the team to support professional development
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
* Solid understanding of warehouse inventory management systems and processes, both theoretical and practical
* Excellent communication skills, and the ability to adapt to fluid business environments
* Leadership experience, comfortable managing a team of various levels, skills and capabilities
* A background implementing process improvements within a warehouse setting
Compensation and Benefits:
* Salary between £42,000 – £55,000 depending on experience
* Defined contribution pension scheme (up to 9%)
* Annual bonus plan – target 8% (based upon company performance)
