Job Description

CIC Health seeks a proven healthcare operations leader to drive and oversee its day-to-day testing operations. Reporting to CIC Health’s COO, the VP of Testing Operations will hold overall responsibility for leading CIC Health’s testing operations, including overseeing all market segment teams (schools, universities, airlines, employers, direct to consumer, government sector, etc.) in a variety of testing streams, including public testing, on-site testing, and unobserved testing.

The VP of Testing Operations position at CIC Health represents a unique opportunity to take a leadership role in helping our nation get back on track in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY WORK
You will join our new CIC Health team and help support its mission of providing more accessible and frequent testing for COVID-19. Some work will be independent while other work will require collaboration with other members of the CIC Health staff.

Potential responsibilities will include:
Operational Responsibilities
• Provide high-level oversight of CIC Health’s testing operations in all testing streams including public testing sites, CIC location sites, and unobserved testing.
• Research and implement new services, vendors, and CIC Health process improvements.
• Be aware of and responsible for the team’s workload, resources, morale, and training needs; advocate for the team’s needs with upper management.
• Maintain a constructive relationship with CIC Health partners and vendors.
• Monitor inventory levels (test materials, etc.) with an eye to ordering/delivery timetables.
• Establish operating metrics and a balanced scorecard for the Testing Business Line and engage leaders and staff in understanding and responding to performance measurement against goals.
• Collaborate with other CIC Health teams to complete projects and share knowledge.

Financial Responsibilities
• Establish a growth plan and financial projections.
• Lead ownership of Revenue and P&L for the Testing Business Line Operations department.
• Establish annual budgets and report out monthly on variances.

Team Leadership
• Serve as a thought leader for the team and advocate for “CIC/CIC Health way.”
• Collaborate with other members of the CIC Health leadership team on determining new testing offerings and other ways to grow Testing Operations and CIC Health as a whole.
• Provide an escalation path for all testing operations issues.
• Represent Testing Operations in interdepartmental meetings, serve as liaison, and share information in both directions as necessary.
• Represent Testing Operations’ perspective in large deal negotiations.
• Lead monthly check-ins with sales.

YOU HAVE
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience. A master’s degree in public health, business administration, healthcare administration, or related field strongly preferred.
• At least 15 years of related professional experience with a track record of success in rapidly scaling a business.
• At least 10 years experience in hiring, leading and developing diverse teams, and building an innovative, agile and inclusive culture resulting in a top-performing and highly engaged workforce.
• A natural interest for helping/supporting others.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and critical thinking skills.
