Full-Time Volunteer Lawyers Program Project Manager
Job Description
- Participate in the LegalServer Committee to identify, evaluate, and develop tools for use by Legal Aid.
- Manage digital resources for volunteers, including uploading and maintaining documents, identifying and removing (or updating) out-of-date materials, and sharing resources with volunteers as appropriate.
- Assist the Managing Attorney of Intake/VLP in planning yearly calendars for over 100 clinics, including coordination with clinic sites and recruitment of volunteers and Legal Aid staff support.
- Oversee bi-annual update of volunteer hours and case status using various tools to identify recipients, coordinate messaging, and ensure data accuracy.
- Support relationships with volunteers, including law firms, bar associations, retired attorneys, government agencies, corporate counsel groups, and law schools.
- Attend in-person clinics, including on Saturdays and evenings, to engage with clients and provide support to volunteers and clients.

The Successful Candidate will:
- Bachelor’s degree in related field, liberal arts, or commensurate experience required.
- 3-5 years’ experience in non-profit organizations, volunteer engagement, or similar
- work.
- Excellent research skills.
- Proficient technology skills, including in MS Office, Windows and databases.
- Proficiency with volunteer management software.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including being attentive to cultural needs and differences.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Establish effective working relationships with a variety of individuals.
- Strong organizational skills, including being able to prioritize work, plan and problem-solve, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
