Job Description
DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a talented Validation Software Test Developer to join our team specializing in hydrogen fuel cell power systems technology for our #NewPower Business Unit in Mississauga, Ontario.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Perform troubleshooting of any identified software or system defects.
• Develop software test plans, methodologies, and tools.
• Develop the HIL testing with LabVIEW and TestStand framework.
• Define, build, and maintain brass board bench setups.
• Responsible for requirements analysis and testability review as well as the required documentation.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Software Engineering.
• Minimum five years of experience in a similar role with an emphasis on testing and validating software and systems.
• Strong technical expertise with industrial PLC controls.
• Prior experience in a global matrix organization in a manufacturing environment highly preferred.
• Excellent communication skills.
