Key Responsibilities:
As a Transportation Manager, your main responsibilities will include:
- Financial Management: Oversee the management of finances or budgets related to transportation services, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all transportation activities are compliant with relevant regulations and industry standards.
- Policy & Standards Development: Establish and implement policies and standards for the transportation and storage of goods to ensure safe, efficient operations.
- Scheduling & Dispatching: Oversee the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles and goods, ensuring timely and efficient delivery.
- Rate Setting & Revenue Monitoring: Supervise the setting of transportation service rates and continuously monitor revenue to optimize profitability.
- Operational Oversight: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure smooth and effective workflow.
- Team Supervision: Manage and supervise a team of 16-20 employees, ensuring high levels of productivity and adherence to company standards.

Qualifications:
- Education: College/CEGEP degree or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience in a managerial role within the transportation or logistics industry.
- Skills:
- Strong leadership and organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems efficiently
- Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
- Client-focused approach with excellent interpersonal skills
