Full-Time Trainee Substance Misuse Practitioner – Ripley
Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity at Derbyshire Recovery Partnership for someone who is passionate about beginning a career in the substance misuse sector.
As a trainee, the role will involve developing the skill set, knowledge and competencies to become a Substance Misuse Practitioner, via a mixture of training, coaching and practice- based learning.
This role will be based at our Ripley Town Hall office in Amber Valley, working 37.5 hours per week. The role is fixed term for 6 months. At the end of the trainee role, there are opportunities to apply for a Substance Misuse Practitioner role.
The role is based in a busy community drug and alcohol service. It will involve developing the skills to offer a range of harm reduction interventions, assessment, risk management and recovery focussed interventions to support our clients attain improved health outcomes and achieve their personalised treatment goals.
