The Operations Manager will work to provide operations support for the Texas organizing program. They will work to ensure the team is set up for success, particularly with regards to recruitment and hiring, compliance, budget management, and field operations. This role will report to the National Operations Manager.

This is a fully remote position with no location requirement and may require some travel. We encourage candidates from all locations within the United States to apply.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage in-state procurement requests, payments to vendors, and tracking of contract schedules
- Work with State Director to develop and oversee in-state budget and efficient budgeting processes
- Support state organizing team in coordinating logistics for major field events and organizer trainings
- Ensure state operations are within compliance of national guidelines
- Coordinate in-state staff onboardings, offboardings, recruiting, and various administrative tasks as assigned
- Assist the Tech team by providing technical assistance, hardware deployment and other support to in-state staff
- Assist the Finance and Legal teams with various administrative tasks as required
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES DESIRED:
- At least one cycle of field operations experience
- Experience working with vendors and handling compliance and reporting
- A self-starter with demonstrated ability to work independently and effectively manage across organizational chart
- Proficiency with Google Apps and Microsoft Excel
- Excellent organizational skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with colleagues; works well in a fast‐paced environment and is able to multi‐task without sacrificing quality of work.
- The ability to adapt rapidly to evolving priorities and deadlines
- Driven with a strong work ethic
