Essential Functions and Objectives:
-Collaborates, implements and monitors recruitment and retention district-wide strategies with HR Partners to monitor and meet client group recruitment objectives.
-Assists with the design and delivery of campus, community and diversity based recruiting activities for local, state, national and international recruitment programs.
-Researches and retains talented applicant pools and external partnerships to fill existing and future job openings (e.g., teachers, administrators and professional staff).
-Compile and create data, reports, and other forms of recruitment and retention statistics.
-Promote diversity recruitment efforts.
-Lead employee referral process and strategy
-Conduct/Perform recruitment efforts on a multi-year, full-cycle of recruitment and retention activities (e.g., identification, recruitment and placement) of highly qualified candidate
-Develop and nurture relationships with customers, school principals, community constituents, and partners in Institutions of Higher Education.
-Refer qualified and hard to find candidates to hiring managers in the district.
-Attend partnership meetings with Institutions of Higher Education, business, community and school partners; and serve on school, community and business committees, councils and/or advisory groups.
-Coordinate recruitment, including job fairs, open houses, etc. and on-boarding events.
-Assess recruitment and retention efforts; provide and implement suggestions for improvement.
-Correspond and communicate verbally and in writing with candidates in a timely, accurate basis.
-Assist Specialized team with posting available positions and screening of candidates
-Review employment applications, evaluate applicant information (e.g., work experience, education and training, job skills) and interview potential candidates for open positions or refer to hiring manager.
-Perform other duties as assigned.
Knowledge, Experience, & Other Qualifications:
-A minimum of four (4) years of successful recruiting experience in public or private sector is highly preferred.
-High volume experience preferred.
-Previous recruiting software application experience and online recruitment skills required.
-Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professional in Human Resources (SHPR) certification preferred.
-Experience and proficiency with Microsoft Office products (e.g., Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.)
-Able to work independently and successfully in a team environment.
-Develop and present information verbally and in written form to potential candidates individually, in small, and in large groups.
-Ability for flexible work hours including nights and weekends. Up to 30% travel out of state.
-Bilingual in Spanish required
Education:
-Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources or related field is preferred.
