This is an exciting opportunity in Galesburg, Michigan for a Systems Engineering Product Specialist.
Your impact will happen in these and other ways:
• Perform a role that is part of the team developing next generation automated transmissions
• Role will help define requirements, contribute to the definition of software algorithm and hardware designs,
• Perform product level integration of the mechanical, electrical and software components
• Perform validation testing to confirm that system and functional requirements are met.
Experience
• Prior Senior or Lead Engineer equivalent work experience in a relevant discipline area is required
• Demonstrated track record of technical problem solving and quality decision making
• Basic understanding of vehicle drivetrain/powertrain systems and components
• Class A commercial driver’s license or ability to obtain one
• Experience with SysML tools such as IBM Rhapsody
• Expertise with Vector tools such as CANape and CANalyzer
• MATLAB and Simulink experience a plus
• Additional experience may include: Physics based plant modeling expertise or Safety & Hazard analysis experience
Education, Licenses, Certifications
College, university, or equivalent Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other relevant technical discipline
Compensation and Benefits
