We are looking for a talented Systems Engineering Lead- Solid Oxide Electrolysis (SOEC) to join our team specializing in New Power Segment in Malta, NY (remote possibility for the right candidate).

Your impact will happen in these and other ways:
• This product focused, developing leadership position performs established technical tasks at the product and cross-business integration level for current and future products within a given business unit or corporate area. This involves work across many steps in the product life cycle. Because of the product centered nature of this position, they are very often a central point of coordination and decision making between product engineers, product line engineers, customer teams, purchasing, suppliers and manufacturing.
• Project Management -Establishes and maintains the balance of scope, schedule and resources for a temporary effort.
• Responsible for driving the system related requirements and product architecture for Solid Oxide Electrolyzer (SOEC).
• Develop overall product development plan and work collaboratively to execute.
• Responsible for driving system level trade-offs to achieve the optimal system configuration while considering market requirements.
• Leads the development and improvement of work processes and systems across function(s) within a global business unit or managing improvement across business units.
• Coordinates and directs work of technical project teams, up to and including direct management of small to mid-sized teams.
• Operates as the recognized multi-competency specialist or expert in a discipline or product area across a site or global business unit with responsibility for developing local talent (direct or indirect).

Education, Licenses, Certifications
University, or equivalent Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or other relevant technical disciplines is required. Post-graduate (Master’s) degree relevant to this discipline area may be required for select roles.
This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

Experience
6 plus years’ experience with a demonstrated track record of technical problem solving, quality decision making and providing technical direction and leadership to a project team(s); translating customer needs and negotiating into product development plans, technical profiles and/or product specification with a proven track record of successful product decisions.

• Requires the candidate to have systematic views; as well as, business acumen.
• Previous experience in the fuel cell, electrolyzer and/or hydrogen industry is strongly desired

Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
