Job Description
DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for an independent and enthusiastic Supply Chain Planner who will ensure that the supply of materials meet the production schedule and minimum stock levels to ensure operational and production continuity. This role sits with our New Power Business Unit in Herten, Germany.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Plan and maintain daily Supply Chain operations in all functional areas such as materials, inventory, demand management and order fulfillment.
• Take ownership of the master production schedule, align customer orders with manufacturing capabilities and capacity.
• Develop planning system strategies to improve signals across the supply chain, monitor and adjust parameters in the planning system by using common processes tools, and information systems.
• Analyze and interpret Key Performance Indicators to identify areas for improvement and action plans.
• Identify potential supply chain failures as part of the planning process and mitigate associated risks and participate in functional process improvement teams.
• Work collaboratively with key internal and external stakeholders across the business to share forecasts and place schedules in line with demand.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• University degree in supply chain, logistics or business management or equivalent work experience within a fast-paced supply chain function.
• Very good English and communicative German language skills.
• Knowledge of MS Office and ERP systems.
• Excellent communication & teamwork skills, assertiveness, flexibility, independent and result-oriented way of working.
