Would you like to be a part of the BEST SUMMER EVER? As the Summer Day Camp Arts Instructor, you get to share your passion for the arts, while making a huge impact on local children as you act as a role model and help them achieve personal growth.
If hired for this position you will be in charge of teaching classes in an area where you are an expert: visual arts, theater arts, and/or dance. You will work with a Program Director to develop lesson plans and then fine tune your skills as an instructor as you lead campers through a variety of activities.
Are you a good fit?
- You are committed to valuing and promoting diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.
- You have experience creating and following a lesson plan.
- You are able to teach visual arts, theater arts, and/or dance.
- You want to advance your teaching skills.
- Able to complete Child Abuse Prevention training on first day and other online or in-person training as required.
Starting Wage: $14.49 +/hr. Depending on qualifications
Dates of Employment: June 1 – September 1 (exact dates will be communicated during the hiring process based on location)
