Full-Time Strategic Partnerships Manager
Job Description
We’re looking for a curious, motivated, detail-oriented, responsible, and engaged person who is looking to join our strategic partnerships team, focusing on existing and new partners for both our corporate training and community sponsorships. You’ll be expected to be a strategic thinker, tailoring the most effective ways to create opportunities for our clients and sponsors, and ensuring that support for these relationships is optimized and well maintained.
Here’s how you’ll be doing that:
- You will manage your entire sales cycle and will need to be a visionary; you love seeing the big picture, you have previous experience and success in solution selling and managing sales pipeline
- You can think of and share best practices in optimizing for efficiency, ensuring the process is transparent for reporting needs, and tweaking to make it easy for a new partner to understand how we can best serve them
- Create sales materials, proposals, statements of work, letters of engagement, and review contracts
- Develop new opportunities for prospects and existing clients/sponsors; you love thinking about new ways to re-engage
- A natural closer- has demonstrated success closing deals with new and current clients, delivering on quarterly goals that we have reviewed and agreed to with you
Analyze, report on, forecast sales deals and report on pipeline with the leadership team - Requirements
Significant service/B2B selling experience, selling events, consulting, or both – You love creating opportunities and can operate independently. You can share success stories in selling services to mid-to-large enterprises and are comfortable engaging with the decision-makers involved. You have experience envisioning and executing sales strategy to reach your quarterly goals. - Fearless communication skills – You do everything you can to respond to your (prospective and existing) clients and your colleagues quickly and accurately. You’re also incredibly adept at understanding what people are looking for and how we can help them.
- A start-up, go-getter mentality – You lived the startup life in some capacity. You can pivot and are comfortable with wearing multiple hats (at times) and you’re genuinely excited by it. You’re self-motivated and hold yourself accountable to goals.
- A detailed-oriented mindset – You’re happy to get into the weeds to make sure the information we convey to prospective and existing clients is perfect. We write proposals and review contracts, so detail is critical.
- A strong desire to be and do better – You’re transparent about your work, willing to ask for help, and happy to accept constructive feedback to get better. You’re curious and confident and you aren’t afraid to try new things and ask questions.
