Staff Accountant (Seattle, WA) (Hybrid Work Model)
FSi Engineers is seeking a full-time staff accountant with 5+ years of experience to be an integral part of our team. Experience in payroll and accounting for architecture, engineering, and construction strongly preferred with an understanding of accounting for billable/non-billable/OH work.
SALARY:
$34.00-37.00 per hour

QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of accounting experience
- 5+ years of payroll experience
- Experience with billable/non-billable work required
- Experience with Deltek software a plus
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Accounts payable experience required
- Aptitude in math
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Customer service skills

RESPONSIBILITES and EXPECTATIONS (other duties may be assigned):
To perform this job successfully, the individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. - Collects various accounting data necessary to input AP entries in accounting system
- Paying invoices for accounts payable
- Prepares and processes monthly credit card reconciliations
- Setting up vendors in the accounting system
- Bank Review (AP Disbursements, cash receipts for ACH’s)
- AP Vouchers
- Deposit checks
- Review/approve/reject employee expense reports
- Input contractor vouchers & pay
- Approve and post timesheets
- Input payroll into payroll system
- Compile payroll data into spreadsheet and post cash disbursement in accounting system
- AP check run
- Post subcontractor invoices
- All monthly EFT’s
- Bank reconciliation
- Assist as needed with month end close
- Monthly B&O calculations and payments
- Any quarterly B&O calculations and payments
- Assist as needed with quarterly financial reports
- Download and compile quarterly payroll reports
- 1099 initialization and reporting
- Assist with year end close as needed
- Assist with overhead audit
- Assist with R&D credit coordination
- Assist with federal tax return coordination
