Temporary Sr. HR Manager: HR Policy – Risk & Compliance
Job Description
Premier Talent Partners is seeking a collaborative and analytical individual for a Sr. Human Resource Manager: HR Policy – Risk & Compliance role with our client, a well-known high-tech commercial bank company. This individual will be fully remote but must be located on the East Coast.

Responsibilities:
- The development, execution, and management of an HR risk and compliance framework and procedures;
- The development and execution of a robust controls program
- Risk identification, assessment, and remediation program for self-identified, internal and external issues
- Provide consulting support to specialty groups to ensure that sound processes and controls are in place for managing compliance and reducing risk
- Manage the audit process including coordination between functions and groups internally and externally. Oversee the follow-up and remediation on findings/recommendations from audits
- Provide HR insight, feedback and lead HR risk mitigating activities to respond to trends and developments
- Ensure ongoing education and training of HR and internal business partners on domestic and global risk and compliance-related topics
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 6-8 years of relevant work experience in Compliance and HR
- A mixture of HR and risk/compliance preferred
- Experience handling internal and external audits, agency responses, management controls
- Ability to form and run projects end to end.
- Strong analytical skills including reasoning, problem-solving.
- Experience with large amounts of data and developing audit reports, metrics and reporting vehicles.
- Must be able to troubleshoot complex issues independently and/or escalate when necessary with accountability and sound professional judgment.
- Finance experience preferred
- Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal skills and excellent communication skills
- Ability to follow detailed verbal and/or written instruction
- Comfortable working under pressure and tight deadlines
- Software Skills: Advanced MS Office Skills including Word, Excel, Powerpoint. Excel skills should include V-Lookups, pivot tables and formulas & Business Process Flow, Swim-Lane Diagrams, MS Visio desirable
