Sports Technician/Instructor 

£23,697-£24,268 per annum 

37 hours per week 

The working pattern is 7.5 hours Monday-Thursday and 7 hours on Fridays. 

52 weeks per annum 

Abingdon & Witney Campus (based in Abingdon) 

Permanent 

The Public and Professional Industries (PPI) faculty are recruiting for the position of Sport Technician Instructor based at the Abingdon campus, with occasional travel to the Witney campus. We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic person to provide high quality training and instruction in sport and gym-based activities to young people and adults, and to provide support to the teaching staff. 

The main duties include delivering practical training sessions, maintaining proper and safe use of the gym and sport facilities, and maintaining high standards of health and safety, cleanliness, tidiness, discipline, maintenance and security within the Sport Department. 

Applicants would ideally hold a level 2 fitness instructor qualification (REPS registration will be required) and have experience of working with young people aged 14 – 19.
