Full-Time Solution Architect

Job Description
We are seeking a full-time Solution Architect with Esri Utility Network experience to join our team. The Solution Architect will have the opportunity to:
- Develop roadmaps for our utility clients to move to in the future
- Design Enterprise Architectures for some of the largest utilities in the US
- Serve as the top-level technical expert and create high-level architectural specifications, and
- Address issues and compatibility concerns based on requirement specifications.
We anticipate that business travel may be up to 50% at times, however the amount may vary depending on client and project requirements.
What you will do
- Provide overall technical leadership for a systems implementation and integration project
- Manage all technical deliverables for the program, including architectural specifications, use- case development, requirements gathering, specification, and validation
- Provide technical direction for software development teams and quality assurance personnel
- Create and maintain programmatic and technical documentation to ensure efficient planning and execution
- Manage and document system configurations and relevant architectural views
- Ensure deliverables are thoroughly tested and meet customer expectations
- Serve as a mentor to senior and entry-level engineers
What we look for from you
- Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Information Technology, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
- 8-14 years of work experience in support of related utility consulting or large-scale process/technology projects
- Esri Utility Network experience is required
- Ability to manage architectural specifications, use-case development, requirements gathering, specification and validation
- Experience with Asset and Work Management Systems, ArcGIS – Geometric Network Management/ ArcGIS – Pipeline Referencing, and Integrity Management Software (DIMP or TIMP)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to provide technical direction for software development teams and quality assurance
- Ability to maintain programmatic and technical documentation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Products
- Understanding of general utility business processes
- Electric or gas distribution industry experience
Compensation range
$150,000-$170,000 annually depending on location and experience
