LOCATION
Onsite work from our Overland Park, KS office is required with flexibility to work remote up to 2 days per week.
SUMMARY
The Software Test Analyst will provide technical support for Black Knight’s Paragon MLS System. Also interfaces with our Customer Care, QA, and Product teams to diagnose high priority software issues that impact our end users.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Troubleshoot tickets entered by our customer care teams
Become expert in the inner workings of the Paragon MLS Software platforms
Write custom SQL queries to gather data to assist Black Knight Customers
Evaluate technical documentation as well as error logs to diagnose and correct tracked issues
Effectively communicate and document findings
Organizes and maintains Application Support backlog
Performs other related duties as assigned
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
Requires 4+ years of software testing experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Knowledge of methods, tools, and technology used in manual software testing
Experience in Team Foundation Server (TFS)/Azure DevOps
Knowledge of Jira tracking system preferred
Experience with SQL Server and writing custom SQL queries
Knowledge of defect management and manual testing tools to create and support a defect-free application
Acceptance, white box, black box, integration, system, and user acceptance testing (UAT) experience
Knowledge of the basic principles, processes, phases, and roles of application development methodologies
Skill in understanding and focusing on the clients’ needs
Ability to work in an agile development environment where developers and testing personnel work closely together to ensure requirements are met or exceeded
Ability to deliver results under pressure
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing to technical and non-technical audiences
