Full-Time Software Engineering – Cloud DevOps
Job Description
We are looking for a talented Software Engineering – Cloud DevOps to join our team specializing in Systems/Information Technology for our Corporate Office in Columbus,IN / your remote home office.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
* Design and implement Azure cloud solutions which are highly available, secure, scalable, monitored, auditable and optimized for all AIM product offerings.
* Build application deployment automation solutions using industry standard deployment and configuration tools
* Build in automation and continuous delivery pipelines that serve the purpose of provisioning and operating client test as well as production environments.
* Implement and stay abreast of Cloud and DevOps industry best practices and tooling.
* Manage incidents and investigate root cause analysis for product failures.
* Communicating with the business and customers about product delivery details.
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
* College, university, or equivalent degree in computer science, engineering or related subject, or relevant experience equivalent.
* 5+ years experience as a Software Engineer for a highly available production environment.
* Clear understanding and knowledge of standard release practices for development, staging, UAT and production release lifecycles.
* Azure fundamentals training with a solid understanding of Software as a Service, Infrastructure as a Service and Platform as a Service in a Hybrid Cloud architecture.
* Build continuous integration and continuous deployment in products that we are delivering in Azure through GITlab and Jenkins and/or Azure DevOps pipelines
* Adoption of Agile Methods
* Managing project workload prioritization through Jira.
Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
