DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
To aid in the success of our brand new warehouse, we are looking for an experienced HR Manager to join our Senior Leadership team. You will play an integral role in establishing and embedding the culture of the site, and driving engagement on Cummins HR policies, processes and procedures. This role is part of our supply chain business unit, based in Daventry, UK.

Your impact will be seen in these and other ways:
• Partner with the site leadership team, HR function and the trade union in the planning and implementation of human resources initiatives and policies for the site.
• Ensure operational effectiveness and compliance with company HR policies and applicable legislation.
• Partner with managers and employees to resolve issues and concerns, with a focus on developing and maintaining a positive Employee Relations climate.
• Collaborate with business leadership to translate current and future business goals, developing initiatives and tactics to meet business objectives in alignment with overall HR strategies and processes.
• Resolve conflicts and provides coaching and counseling on HR matters for the site.
• Ensure compliance with key government legislative requirements and adherence to HR policies and procedures. Continue to develop own knowledge and understanding of relevant employment laws.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
• Substantial experience in an operational HR position is required.
• Operational HR experience within warehousing or logistic environment is highly desirable.
• CIPD Level 5 is strongly preferred.
• Previous experience establishing a site would be an advantage.

Compensation and Benefits
• Salary between £54,500 and £65,000 depending on experience.
