DESCRIPTION/RESPONSIBILITIES:
We are looking for a talented Senior Sourcing Specialist to join our team specializing in Purchasing for our Corporate Office in your U.S. remote home office. Candidate residence in Wisconsin, Indiana, or Michigan preferred.[DEL: :DEL]

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Independently carries outsourcing activities with full consideration for the impact of those activities on the end-to-end supply chain.
• Executes sourcing tactics of varying complexity in accordance with established category/commodity strategies reflecting the optimum cost, quality, delivery.
• Analyzes complex sourcing and purchasing initiatives and processes in support of the delivery of cost-effective and high-quality goods and services.
• Prepares and presents to senior purchasing/sourcing leadership recommendations of improvement opportunities and alternative courses of action.
• Ensures consistent application of sourcing procedures and processes.
• Supports purchasing/sourcing management in activities such as price benchmarking, vendor management, industry and market analysis, process analysis, and model building.
• Negotiates select contracts.
• Develops and maintains effective relationships with suppliers to the benefit of both parties.
• Identify, manage, and mitigate risks associated with the assigned supply base
• Effective project management to manage projects from small to large scope (resourcing, supplier exits, risk mitigation, regionalization, etc.)
• Lead special projects assigned by Category director to support team goals and priorities

REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• Bachelors in Engineering or Business. College, university, or equivalent degree in field appropriate for the function required
• 3+ years in Sourcing or Supply Chain
• Working knowledge of casting or machining processes and supply base is a plus
• Able to communicate effectively and make presentations to senior-level leadership
• Experience with Total Cost ownership models and analysis
• Experience in supplier negotiations and contracts

Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
