We are looking for a talented Senior Sourcing Specialist to join our team specializing in Purchasing for our Cummins Filtration Business Unit in Columbus, IN , Nashville, TN, or approved remote home location.

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
• Negotiations Excellence – Utilizes tools and methods in negotiations to achieve Cummins stakeholder objectives and achieve a mutually agreed upon all contract terms between all parties.
• Category Strategy Development – Establishes category strategy using Total Value Performance approach to define the Supply Base and Technology Strategy to meet all current and future Cummins’ needs; manages risk and inclusion of diverse suppliers.
• Manages conflict – Handling conflict situations effectively, with a minimum of noise.
• Balances stakeholders – Anticipating and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders.
• Business insight – Applying knowledge of business and the marketplace to advance the organization’s goals.
• Supplier Relationship Management – Manages strategic supplier using agreed process with established work plan, senior sponsor meetings, and scorecards; defines and evaluates a collaborative relationship with a Category Partners List supplier to deliver value to Cummins and the supplier.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
• College, university, or equivalent degree in field appropriate for the function required.
• 3-5 years of intermediate level of related work experience required
• Management of Purchase Finish North America Suppliers.
• Ability to work closely with the CAM (Competitive All Makes) team,
• Cross functionality to ensure the success of the team and achievement of the CAM KPIs.
• Management of complex relationships with competitive filter companies through the buy/sell relationship. Preferred candidate would have experience/ knowledge in Strategy Development for the purchased finished (and other) categories.

Compensation and Benefits
Base salary rate commensurate with experience.
