Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) headquartered in Alexandria, Virginia, and Orlando, Florida USA with technical support centers in South East Asia and East Africa, that provide program management and facilities engineering services worldwide. Planate is a small business provider of planning, design, infrastructure management, technical consulting, engineering, and construction management services in support of the US Department of Defense (DOD) and its Service (Army, Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps) missions, along with other US federal agencies, all over the world.

We are looking for a Senior Scheduler/Analyst to join our team providing construction management services for key projects within the Capitol Complex, Washington, D.C. This role requires expertise in creating, analyzing, and maintaining detailed project schedules to ensure successful and timely project delivery.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop, update, and maintain engineering and construction project schedules using Primavera and MS Project.
  • Collaborate with design and construction engineers to optimize schedules and proactively mitigate potential delays.
  • Analyze schedule-related claims and change orders, ensuring alignment with project timelines and budgets.
  • Oversee and manage subordinate Project Schedulers to ensure consistent scheduling practices.
  • Provide detailed schedule reports to Construction, Project, or Program Managers to support decision-making and project tracking.
  • Perform other duties as assigned that may be appropriate for the position.

 

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in scheduling or related roles within engineering or construction projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction/Project Management, or Business Management.
  • Strong proficiency in scheduling software, specifically Primavera and MS Project.
  • Expertise in cost estimation and change order analysis.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and time management skills.
