Full-Time Senior Human Resources Generalist

Job Description

In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

* Providing staffing and recruiting support, evaluates structure, job design and headcount forecasting, and other people data analysis; implements tactics to select and maintain a diverse workforce.

* Resolve conflicts and provides coaching and counseling on human resources matters for individuals or groups within a defined organization or function.

* Leading performance management activities, including employee development planning.

* Ensure the accuracy and completeness of workforce information in human resources information systems.

* Facilitating compensation process and benefits administration by partnering with shared services and corporate human resources; develops and implements workforce compensation recommendations.

* Manage administration of and adherence to human resources policies and procedures; advises organizational and functional leadership on compliance with key legislative requirements.

 

To be successful in this role you will need the following:

* Strong background within candidate assessment and selection process including; qualification requirements, key competencies and other relevant selection criteria’s measured against pre-determined job specifics.

* Human resources data management knowledge – ensuring completeness, accuracy and compliance with company policy and legislative requirements.

* Human Resources Consulting skills including ability to collaborate with partners to observe the environment and apply sound judgement informed by knowledge, skills, and experiences to identify and optimize opportunities to provide holistic solutions, while balancing the needs of stakeholders, primarily employees, with those of the organization.

* Ability to build strong and constructive relationships with both employees and other stakeholders whilst reinforcing consistent application of Cummins standards.

 

Knowledge and experience with California Labor Law in addition to union/contract negotiation would be advantageous.

 

Education, Licenses, Certifications

 

College, university, or equivalent degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field or equivalent experience required.
